The Story Behind Nuva
I’m Ieshia McGriff, the founder of Nuva Beauty Co.
Nuva began in a quiet body-sculpting studio in Macon, Georgia. Women came for their treatments, but the experience often became more than an appointment. The studio was calm and inviting a place where women could talk, exhale, and take a moment to invest back into themselves.
Working in the studio taught me that meaningful care is rarely one-and-done. Body sculpting required consistency, regular appointments, and care at home between sessions. It had to become part of a woman’s routine before it could become part of her results.
Over time, I began to see the limitations of a service-based business. Appointments were available only to women close enough to visit my studio, and maintaining a full series of sessions could become expensive. I wanted to build something more sustainable while creating a way for Nuva to reach beyond one room and one city.
Nuva Beauty Co. became that next chapter.

Nuva was not created to recreate a studio appointment at home. It carries forward what the studio taught me: meaningful care is built through consistency, intention, and the moments you choose for yourself. From a daily body oil to a focused two-step system, each product offers its own way to bring that philosophy into real life.

Today, I find genuine joy in preparing and packing every order. From the formula and fragrance to the ribbon, cards, and final presentation, each detail is chosen to make opening Nuva feel like receiving a moment of care.
